We help Jewish families and the community at large to successfully meet the challenges of daily life by providing quality, affordable, and accessible social services.  The agency is guided by our values of caring for individuals with dignity and respect and helping people to help themselves. You can support our agency this Community Mitzvah Day weekend by either donating food or by purchasing a Soups and Sweets Cookbook. Food needs have increased substantially during this pandemic. Our Betsy & Peter Fischer Food Pantries invite you to donate kosher non-perishable food items directly to our pantry on Monday, January 18, 2021 from 10 AM to 1 PM. The pantry is located 1309 West Route 70, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002 (driveway entrance on Whitman Ave). Our most needed items include boxed milk, cereal, canned tomato products and sauce, canned vegetables, peanut butter, jelly, rice, snacks, canned fruit, and canned fish. BookSmiles

BookSmiles, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, gives underserved children in Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs the opportunity to build personal libraries, starting at infancy. We focus on providing students and younger siblings with high-quality books, thereby laying the groundwork for great literacy skills before and during the elementary school years. We also provide educators, especially those serving Title I schools, with unlimited books for their classroom libraries as well as for their students' personal collections. We are looking for books (new or gently used). Books may be dropped at 1879 Old Cuthbert Road, unit 33, Cherry Hill, off Rte. 70 West, down the road from the Cherry Hill Racquet Club, across from Storm Master Gutters. Moorestown Jewish Association (MJA)

MJA facilitates opportunities to discover the vibrant Jewish community within our own hometown. MJA fosters relationships through innovative community-based Jewish experiences, such as holiday events, educational activities, and fun social gatherings for our friends and neighbors of all ages. Katz JCC

The Katz JCC is the home away from home for thousands of people in Burlington, Camden and Gloucester Counties. We offer programs and services for little ones before they enter the world to older adults well into their 90s and everyone in between. Our vital programs for these individuals include but are not limited to infant and toddler care, after school enrichment programming, the largest weekday congregant meal program for older adults in Camden County and an inclusive environment with individuals with special needs. The JCC Camps at Medford, the largest day camp in North America, is a signature program of the Katz JCC.  Our services and programs would not be possible without the generous support of our community. B'nai Tikvah Beth Israel (CBTBI)

CBTBI is a vibrant, welcoming, egalitarian Jewish community. CBTBI is active in the community and participates in interfaith services and dialogue to promote harmonious relationships among people of all faiths and nationalities. South Jersey Men's Club

South Jersey Men’s Club was established 1991 to serve the Jewish men of South Jersey with a men’s club that is not affiliated with any one synagogue or temple.  The group does not identify as orthodox, conservative, or reform. Temple Beth Sholom

Temple Beth Sholom (TBS) is a Conservative Synagogue of 800+ families in Cherry Hill. TBS is the energy, warmth and spiritual meaning of a community connecting with one another and centuries of Jewish tradition. In conjunction with the Jewish War Veterans, TBS is collecting new or gently used, clean clothing for active-duty service people and their families. These donations will benefit members of the Fort Dix Army Base in Burlington, NJ as well as other surrounding military bases. Adath Emanu-El is a liberal but traditional Jewish community in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.
