Transportation

The ability to drive and having the independence to go wherever we want, whenever we want is a freedom that most of us enjoy and often take for granted. Most of us can come and go as we please and make plans according to our own schedule.

But for some older adults, and those with varying abilities, what we may see as routine outings like going to the grocery store or attending social events, have become monumental challenges.

As we age, health conditions may impact the ability to drive and we must find other methods of transportation for getting to and from our daily activities. The Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey is committed to making our programs, services and buildings accessible to all, and we want to be a partner in making the lives of all those in our community who have transportation issues as meaningful as possible.

We are compiling a list of transportation options. Please come back soon and often as they are updated.
